wonderful things [25 Dec 2009|09:36am] lite_bright wonderful thing one: Merry Christmas! wonderful thing two: A Marriage of Inconvenience, The Grand Sophy by someone incomparably secret and awesome. I love this story a great deal, and I am grippingly possessive about it, after asking in several Yuletides for it, which is really flattering, off my flaws, and onto the story's many virtues so I guess you can read it IF YOU REALLY LIKE THINGS THAT ARE GREAT. Charles and Sophy are married, and still totally awesome here, and there's banter and women in fountains and kissing! Also Charles being fun and Sophy being irrepressible and it is so clearly an excellent romance and it delights me in all ways. They make each other better people, and then there are hijinks! wonderful thing three: Matthew 1:18-24. and now, to do my hair, open presents and cook. ooh my busy schedule. post!

in my head, I am important. [18 Dec 2009|10:40am] lite_bright FINALLY finally have a working and sustainable internet connection. For reals, I have not had one since I went down from college, and now I do, and just. Praises to the heavens! Also I was busy: I had to defeat my fear of planes YET AGAIN, start work on my mother's Christmas party, and oh, right, go up to school to see faded_lilac, fortevivace and oodles_of_charm along with all my other friends who do not have Livejournal accounts. It was awesome and supercool, and there was beer! All things that are great and beloved. In other news, happy birthday to me! My mother left me a note about how it's going to snow here which: best present everrr, and my father and stepmother are coming by later, too. Should be a total disaster! Still, though. Birthday! It's really hard to ruin that, hooray me. Stories continue apace, I am totally sure I will have things in by due-dates. Thumbs-up! Now I have to go do my hair, and vacuum. (yes I was going to make this interesting, but today is a day of total self-indulgence. like I am never not like that on the internet still.) 6&post!
